About us North End Woodward Community Coalition (NEWCC) is a Detroit-based social justice/community development organization, working to build power by focusing on equitable systems change. We establish opportunities that improve the quality of life for our community and which create workforce development on a community level, with the goal of community retaining ownership of the projects. Our desire is to regain equity and build community wealth. We work to create permanent jobs within our community which address root causes of systemic problems and which advance holistic solutions.
