About us | SASHA Farm was founded by Dorothy Davies and Monte Jackson in the late 1980s. Their quaint family farm quickly turned into a sanctuary and they became vegan once they experienced such deep connections with their animals. In 2001, SASHA Farm Animal Sanctuary officially became a nonprofit. From there, Monte, Dorothy, staff, and volunteers created the oldest and largest farmed animal sanctuary in the Midwest. |
